Aleks Richardson, BSHA, MBA, JD

Aleks Richardson has over two decades of experience in healthcare management, quality, and compliance. At MHR, she brings a profound understanding of clinical operations, regulatory standards, and NCQA frameworks. 

Throughout her career, Aleks has held leadership positions in operations, clinical compliance, quality management and improvement, and accreditation. As the Accreditation Manager at a national health plan, she oversaw NCQA accreditation activities and ensured regulatory compliance across multiple health plans nationwide. Aleks’s expertise includes strategic planning and evaluation, quality improvement, network and utilization management, and building effective management structures. Aleks joined MHR as an independent consultant in April 2025.

Aleks entered the dialysis industry in 2010 as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT), working in acute care, hemodialysis, and home hemodialysis. She rapidly advanced to Director of Operations and Clinical Compliance. In that role, she led regulatory reporting, ensured CMS and state survey readiness, and served on key quality and compliance committees.

Aleks holds an Associate of Arts in Healthcare Management (2010), a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in Healthcare (2012), and an MBA (2014). In 2022, she completed an Executive Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, expanding her healthcare law and compliance expertise.

Aleks has earned certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma Facilitator to improve processes and reduce variability.
