Kim D’Angelo, RN, MPH, CPHQ

Kim D’Angelo, RN, MPH, CPHQ, brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare quality, NCQA Accreditation, and regulatory strategy. 

With more than two decades of leadership across highly matrixed healthcare organizations, Kim has successfully led end-to-end NCQA Health Plan and Health Equity Accreditation projects.

Her expertise spans quality improvement, delegation oversight, regulatory readiness, and clinical vendor management across Medicaid, Exchange, commercial Medicare, and dual-eligible lines of business. She has guided clinical services—including Case Management, Population Health Management, Utilization Management, and Appeals & Grievances—through product implementation, and significant disruptions.

Before joining Managed Healthcare Resources, Kim held senior roles at Point32Health and WellSense Health Plan, where she built quality infrastructures, led enterprise-wide initiatives, and steered organizations through complex audits, mergers, and transformations. Today, as an NCQA Surveyor, she offers clients valuable perspective from both sides of the accreditation process.

Passionate about the outdoors, Kim finds peace at the beach year-round and enjoys hiking to scenic summits. A devoted dog lover, she and her husband share their life with two energetic Golden Retrievers.
