Kim Johnson

Kimberly is an accomplished professional with a passion for innovation and excellence. With over three decades of experience in healthcare, Kim has established herself as a dedicated leader and a creative problem solver.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In 2016, Kim attained her Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) credential and maintains that certification via annual training and education.

Throughout her career, Kim has worked solely within the healthcare field, launched at age 16 as a hospital file clerk. With leadership level experience at both provider and payer entities, she has well-rounded healthcare experience, including practice management, credentialing, contracting, project management, claims, provider relations and quality. Most recently a director at a “Big 6” health insurer, she led a team of up to 80 quality improvement staff and was responsible for NCQA accreditation for multiple companies and lines of business along with HEDIS oversight.

She is recognized for her ability to design and drive projects from inception to completion, consistently delivering results that exceed expectations. Her expertise includes strategic planning, team leadership, and clinical measure improvement.

A strong advocate for volunteer community work, Kim is currently on the board of directors for the Nevada Cancer Coalition and the Arizona Association of Healthcare Quality where she leads the Colorectal Cancer Collaborative (NCC) and is the Director of Communications (AzAHQ).

Outside of work, Kim enjoys hiking, and kayaking wherever she travels. She’s a gardener, a dog lover and proud wife, mother and grandmother.
